Who designed the letters?
Lynn Morris, Founder of Childhood Treasures, designed the letters of the alphabet.

Do you send the products off to be personalized?
No, we take fine white porcelain and apply each letter by hand for personalization. Each piece is made to order.

How do you apply the letters?
The first step is to send the letters off to be converted into silkscreen decals. Once the decals are made, they come back to us on large sheets of paper. We then cut out each letter and soak it in water for 30 seconds to release the decal from the paper. We carefully place each decal onto the porcelain and make sure the letters are arranged correctly, and then we use a squeegee to remove all the excess water from under the decals. After the decals have completely dried, we fire them in our kiln at over 1300°F. The final product is a permanent personalized gift that will be cherished for years to come.

Are the dishes dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes.

Can I change the color of the letters?
No, as we like to stay true to Lynn's original artwork. However, look for new designs and colors to come out in 2013!

What happens after I place my order online?
First, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your order. If you do not receive a confirmation within 48 hours, please contact us.
Your order should be processed within 5 business days, and production takes another 7-10 days. When your order is shipped, you will receive another email with a tracking number. Most Childhood Treasures arrive three to four weeks after the order is placed.

Is it safe to order online using my credit card?
Yes, we use the latest encryption technologies to ensure that our website is secure. We take every precaution to protect the privacy and security of our customers, and we will never share your information with a third party.

Are refunds or exchanges allowed?
No, unfortunately, because each treasure is made to order, we are not able to cancel orders or exchange items.

What happens if there is a problem with my order?
In the event that an order arrives damaged or Childhood Treasures makes an error in the personalization, we will redo the item(s) at no charge. Please contact us immediately to arrange for return of the damaged or incorrect item(s).

How much is shipping?
When you reach the order page, fill in the information and click “Get Shipping Options.” Shipping costs are calculated based on where you are located in the Continental United States. At the present time, we are not able to ship to Hawaii, Alaska or international locations.

How do I buy/redeem a gift certificate?

How do I find my product?
  To find the product(s) you're looking for, you may (1) use the navigation menus on the top, left & bottom of our website. (2) type a keyword into the SEARCH box. If you have any trouble locating a product, feel free to contact customer service for assistance.
How do I navigate the site?
  To navigate this website, simply click on a category you might be interested in. Categories are located on the top, left & bottom of our website. QUICK TIP: Place your mouse cursor over anything you think could be a clickable link. You'll notice that anytime you scroll over something that is a link, your mouse cursor will become a "hand". Whereas scrolling over anything that is NOT a link will leave your cursor as an "arrow". You may also type a keyword into the SEARCH box to quickly find a specific product. If you have any trouble locating a product, feel free to contact customer service for assistance.
How do I use a coupon?
  After adding items to your cart, click the "View Cart" link at the top of this site to view your cart. At the bottom of the shopping cart you'll see a box where you may enter your coupon code.
